HEY everyone! I'm alive...I'm a real LIVE person. and as the third member of our fantabulous foursome, I'm here to bring you pictures of my very first visit to Wizard's World Philly, which just happens to be my first real plunge into the world of comic books. Well, I had a BLAST.

Wizard's World Philly

The first part of the mystery is unveiled!!! Come see what happens when an every day guy is asked to save the universe!

For some time now Nick and I have been making flimsy references to a "project" that Jesse and I are engrossed in; here's a first taste of what we've been doing, I hope it's sweet on your tongue.

Story By: Nick "Crash" Witte (of Denim Avenger fame)

Background artist/ Colorist: Jesse Candelori (in her comic book premiere)

Human Figure/ layout artist: Jon Klein (also of Denim Avenger Fame)

CosMick dynamically represents a mixture of the old school and new school that we cherish here at Crash'n'Klein. Every single page has been colored by hand in Jesse Candelori's Glorious colored pencils.

No release date has been set yet, but as soon as we make our decision, you'll be the first to know.

The remastering, reinking, rethinking, and general redoing of Denim Avenger #1 is nearing it's end. Jonny-boy has got them all kinds of done and is updating Drunkduck on Mondays and Fridays. I'm not sure how many updates are left after today BUT you can find them all here:

And then, once all is said and done, those same pages will be up on our glorious site for your collective enjoyment. That means you have two places to get your Denim Avenger jones on. We love you more here, though. It's true.

Also, once DA #1 is completely done and up, our mysterious new project done by the lovely Jesse and standby guy Jon. It's still written by yours truly, however do not expect too many similarities if any to the Denim Avenger. It's a departure for our norm, if we even have one. Look for more excitement soon.

Hello, everybloody! Happy Not-April-Fools Day! It's front page update time!

So here's part of the skinny...

1) Our artists have been dilligently working on our new title, CosMick, to the exclusion of all other titles and projects. Couple that with their jobs and school and life outside the comic book universe, that leads to less than frequent updates. Sorry about that.

2) Our writer has also been dilligent in his craft, working on future issues of The Denim Avenger, a second issue of CosMick, and the rewrite of our short story title, Tales from Centropolis.
a) Consequently, the name of our fair city in which good ol' DA appears in, as well as other heroes to come, will be in our truly fictional city of Centropolis. I'm not going to say where abouts it is, which cities it resembles, or anything like that. What I will say is that any city dwellers out there should tell us if you think part of our city resembles yours.

3) The forums are still wide open and ready for your comments, posts, and threads. Drop us a line. We'll even take complaints on our update speed. Do it.

Another note of business: Apparently there is some confusion of Drunk Duck's going to Wizard World Philly. If they do, no worries. We'll be there, whoring out our product to you fine folk. If they do not, that spells some bad news for the family CNK. We will then, inevitably, find another convention to go to (with Drunk Duck) and post that date and place here. You see, at this point, we can't do it without the Duck. They allow us to do our thing under their name and it's a super deal for us fledgling poor folk.

New Page!! See it Here Before Anyone Else

I'm still working on the Denim Avenger Issue 1 "Remastered edition", this is the latest page I've done. This is my first real stab at some nice buildings in ink. So, why am I uploading the page here and not on Drunk Duck (http://www.drunkduck.com/The_Denim_Avenger/) first? Simply put, I'm still in the middle of uploading the new pages for the fight scene there, and I didn't want to break what little assemblence of continuity our DD readers Had.

On that note, just as soon as I figure out how, I'll update the digital comic archive on THIS site (Click the word "Comics" above) to be 100% up to date.

Something was brought to my attention...

A friend of mine, and a fellow enjoyer of the CrashnKlein wares, recently mentioned that the ability to comment on main page is a bit hidden. So, until I can get it fixed or if I am even able to, if you'd like to comment on anything on the main page, click on the title of the main page article. It will send you to a page where you can comment on it.

Also, this will be a plug for our forum section. We know you visit, we have our ways. But we want to interact with you fine people. You have no idea how much it means to us for you to come and visit our page, patiently awaiting updates. Drop us a line, though. Ask about our progress. We don't bite...much.

Well, I feel bad. Here me and Jesse are doing all kinds of artwork, and you, the world at large, can't see it! Recently we've been concentrating heavily on a brand new title which should be released in full color at Wizard's World Philly in early June. While we are making excellent progress (honestly I couldn't ask for better) we haven't scanned any of the pages in, to show you.

But not to worry "Crash-dummies" [sorry, it was staring me in the face, I had to coin the name before someone else did] I've got something to tide you over until the big meal, I hope it's taste is sweet to your palette. This [image] is the first production of my new tablet PC, which I've only begun to test drive. So far, this is the greatest toy I have ever owned.

Hey guys. I appreciate all youse who've visited the site and have come back expecting more and more things. Well...they're coming, just not as quick as some readers may like. I could go on and on about how real life intrudes and we can't make the goods because of it. Hopefully all of you in cybertopia out there understand and sympathize with us. But never fear, CrashnKlein Comix will be adding more to the sight in the, preferably, near future.

Here's some teaser things we may and probably will have coming your way:

-A laid back, cool kinda dude becomes cosmically empowered for off-Earth adventures...

To kill Superman.

I mean, to make scads of cash.

I mean, to make a slew of interesting independant comics and make them available to the public.
